Its the end of the academic semester and after an entire term of Spanish, many of us are leaving the same way we entered.....all we can say is "Si"
Most unashamedly I havent attended a single spanish class for the entire semester, so naturally when the lecturer was calling role and stumbled upon my name she was perplexed as to who was this student. My wonderful classmates responded by telling her that the said student,(ME) was a distance learning student.....LOL, thanx so much guys!!! ...we are comrades!!!

We are all seated in the meeting room where we will be instructed on the rules of invigilation, we collect our schedules, we plan for Professor Dion's 'party' , we are all still cussing post-graduate administration for our totally screwed up time-tables...we are comrades !!!

I pass in Gateboys to collect my pc speakers from one of the boys, I plan to buy 'cup of noodles' on way back from the grocery for dinner. Upon my arrival, I am made aware of a huge pot of peleau the boys have cooked and it is insisted I taste of it. Naturally this pot was exclusive to the crew, not to any passerby that wanders into the bar. Luckily for me and my stomach I was considered a fellow crew member...they took out my food for me, they ate with me and from my very plate, they burped with me - the way that the guys do it !!! Dinner in Gateboys bar! ...we are comrades !!!

Exams is upon us ALLLLLLL, post-grad(meeee), under-grad(rissa), medsci(dan and nash), part-timers(reed and duckyboi) and upper sixers(yes u too kayd)...
My apartment is in permanent study mode, my sister and I both with our study pals, study study studying.... 1am and still study study studying...
BREAKTIME ---> we all merge in one room, we talk and laugh, we dance to a likkle soca, we make some coffee ( with a half of teaspooon of sugar for the fat and tonnes of sugar for the skinny ), we snack, we gossip, we complain about having man problems and not even having a man (LOL,remember that one!!!!!!!!!!!)we talk about life and we talk about love and we talk about getting some sugar while others salting !!! ... we are comrades!!!

Its a study break and I venture next door to vibes my people who check me when they are on a break as I do with them. I give myself a time limit, Im taking a 17mins, coincidentally they are on a break as well - we chit chat, I impart advice as a management graduate to likkle management undergrads, I impart advice as a postgrad about medicals and tricks of the trade, I am intoduced to 'Cheetos' which tastes exactly like the cheap 'Holiday foods' cheesecurls....I still dont see or rather taste the difference, sheesh! ...we are comrades!!!

Its 9:30pm and I have decided to give myself a gift, a full night's rest, however my body refuses to comply. I toss and turn restlessly for some 90minutes. Finally I have given up and with lights off and still covered I call the one person I knew I could call nomatter what, only a few minutes away and an excellent conversationalist.He answered...I learned what an 'incubus' was and was scared shitless being in a dark room with moving shadows and all, I got advice to get rid of a stalking police-officer who actually called me at 12:30am when I was on the phone with him that same night, I vented, he vented, we simultaneously vented about "OUR" past, present and future and elephants in the room or rather the elephants in our msn messenger online chat window... we spoke from 11 till 2am and me, still as awake as ever! I eventually got up and studied till 6am!!! ...we are comrades!!!

Now, concentrate on the black + in the center of the picture. After a short period of time, all the pink dots will slowly disappear, and you will only see a green dot rotating if you're lucky! It's amazing how our brain works. There really is no green dot, and the pink ones really don't disappear. This should be proof enough, we don't always see what we think we see.

......taking a break from studying [ i seem to be having a lottttt of those breaks lately :) ]
anyhoo's so im chillaxing and listening to the Boom Champion Rhythm City 94.1FM ( its usually that or 96) and they are blazing styles like whoa.....
the dub session eventually played this song which i dont know but the chorus line was soooo abosolutely hilarious!!! I admit it made an excellent point, it hit the nail ont he head but the analogy was soooo funny.......
